Don Cagle comes from a musical family.
He grew up going to singing conventions and where he sang and help write
some of the 120+ songs that his late father, Billy Joe Cagle, wrote, often
directing songs in the singing convention class sessions along with his
mother and father. Don completed his formal education with a bachelor's
degree in vocal music and spent a career as a public school teacher. Don's
quartet experiences includes sing lead for the Prodigals Quartet out of
McAlester, OK. Following his time with the Prodigals, he organized the
Sunlight Quartet and later the Cagle Brothers Quartet. Don is a retired
educator and now serves as the Minister of Music at a Baptist Church in
Tulsa. Don is married to Pat and they live in Collinsville, OK.
